About the Author

The Techducator is a blog by Mun Shing CHEONG for educators, school administrators, and education leaders. I write about edtech, share innovations in learning, discuss pedagogy and learning design, and explore the future of learning. I also blog about my learnings from the Digital Education Leadership Program.

I am passionate about all things digital and thrive on seeing transformed lives through education and technology. With over 20 years of experience across education, emerging technologies, and digital strategy, I have built brands, scaled teams, and accelerated growth at 4 startups. I am currently the CEO of Qurio Education, a parallel learning system offering after-school programs for children. Prior to education, I worked for Microsoft where I provided leadership and strategic direction for marketing and business growth. I have also served in a Christian non-profit organization, Alpha, where I got to leverage technology to transform product distribution globally.
 
I am currently a student in the MEd. in Digital Education Leadership program at Seattle Pacific University. I am also a graduate of the Financial Engineering Program from Stanford University and hold a Master of Science degree in Electronic Publishing from City University, London as well as a BA (Hons) Marketing degree from Middlesex University, London.
