4.1d | Recognizing Change Agents

As a change agent, the coach is encouraged to recognize educators across the organization who use technology effectively to enable high-impact teaching and learning.

Impacting change can be a collaborative endeavor and the smart change agent knows how to recognize and activate other model educators to impact and perpetuate positive change. The Coaching Project that I worked on has taught me the value of building trust and using encouragement and recognition to inspire technology change agents for high-impact teaching and learning.

I also studied some of the notable High-Impact Educational Practices (HIPs) and used that as a basis to identify who among my faculty members have demonstrated excellence in those areas. These change agents are then invited to share their best practices with the rest of the faculty members.
